Love Remains

Psalm 16:11

You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence.

Isn’t that what we all want? We all want to be doing something with our lives that makes us fulfilled and happy. God wants the same thing for you. God, your loving Creator, is at the very ground of your being. Jesus, the perfect embodiment of God in human form, said that He came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). God has shown us the path to life in the example of Jesus. He “emptied himself” (Philippians 2:7) of any self-centered, egotistical desires…and allowed God to fill Him and to lead Him. Jesus practiced “dying” to Himself knowing that this is the process to new life (“unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit” John 12:24). One sure way to get on the “path to life” is to follow Jesus who said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). To do this…read His words, listen to His voice in your heart, and follow His example. Follow Christ and you will discover your true self and God…and you will experience joy in the process.

It appears that my path is asking for some dying on the way to new life. At least for the moment, or much longer, that will mean an end to my blogging. I wish you continued inspiration for the benefit of your readers and others who are affected by your work. You are a true instrument of God’s Love. Peace! ~Dennis

Thank you Dennis. Your posts have uplifted and nurtured me. I pray that your respite brings you the new life you need…and I’m sure it will. However…I’ll miss your posts greatly!

Isn’t that a beautiful thought? God please fill me with your light and love.
